Gudauri is a ski resort on the plateau of The Greater Caucasus Mountain Range in Georgia. It is situated at an elevation of 2200 meters above sea level, with skiable area enjoying maximum exposure to the sun. Gudauri lies 120 km to the north of the capital of Georgia - Tbilisi and two hours drive from the Tbilisi International airport. The resort is full of high quality, avalanche-safe skiing slopes which are completely above the treeline. When the first snow blankets the Gudauri moors, the effect is striking: rough mountain peaks and snow-covered roads become exceptionally beautiful. “Mountain resorts of Georgia” helms the Gudauri development from the early days of 2013. Since then, standards of the ski resort have been raised and attained premium quality. Gudauri has 70 km of ski runs and 11 lifts. The bottom station of the first ski lift called “Pirveli” is at 2,165 meters above sea level followed by the 3,276 meter “Sadzele”. The lifts work from 10:00 to 16:30. Aside from beautiful landscapes, breathtaking mountains and skiing tracks, you can take your time to paraglide, speed ride, or even heliski with highly experienced instructors.
